6. Other things we would like to tell you
You can bring your own megaphones, musical instruments, banners, flags, placards, etc. for the parade. You do not need to bring your own. If you make your own original placard and bring it with you, you can appeal the gospel to many people. Anyone (non-believers) is welcome to participate. We hope that as many people as possible will gather to preach the birth, resurrection, and second coming of the Lord. I believe the Lord wants you to be the heroes of the gospel in the end times. Let us look to the Lord!
7. What does it mean to hold a parade at Christmas?
For the Bible, a parade is a declaration of the Lord's victory, a worship service, and a festival.
The image of Christmas in Japan has always been that of Christmas parties, Christmas cakes, Santa Claus and his reindeer. I think the main reason for the establishment of this image is the commercialization of Christmas. However
Christmas provides a great opportunity to communicate Jesus Christ. "Behave wisely toward outsiders, and use the opportunity to its full advantage." (Colossians 4:5)
Now is the time for Christians to come together as one, to proclaim the gospel together, to gather and parade together to tell the 99% of unbelievers the true meaning of Christmas and the birth, life, resurrection, and second coming of Jesus Christ. Preach the Word. Do it well, whether times are good or bad. Be patient with all perseverance, teaching continually, reproving, rebuking, exhorting." (II Timothy 4:2)
8. Tract distribution during the parade
Those who wish to distribute the tracts are not allowed to participate in the crowd. (It is forbidden to enter or leave the parade during the parade, as they will be treated as cars and not as pedestrians during the parade). The number of people handing out tracts will be limited. Please note that you will be responsible for your own actions. After the parade, only those who wish to stay behind will be allowed to distribute tracts at Ebisu Bridge in Namba.
